Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern Lebanese Towns, Destroy Building on Harouf Road

NABATIEH: Israeli warplanes launched an extensive air campaign this afternoon, focusing on multiple locations in southern Lebanon. The Berjawi building on the road to the town of Harouf was destroyed in one of the airstrikes. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the air raids also impacted several other towns, including Deir Siryan, Zawtar al-Gharbiya, and Kawthariyat al-Siyad. The entrance to the town of Haboush on the highway was also hit. Additional airstrikes targeted the localities of Yohmor al-Shkeef, the al-Wadi area near the town of Shebaa, and the towns of Aita al-Jabal and Aita al-Shaab, extending towards al-Qawzah. The report further detailed that the towns of Hanin, Ramyeh, Beit Lif, and Aita al-Shaab in the Bint Jbeil district came under shelling from Merkava tank shells. The airstrikes were renewed at approximately 3:30 pm, with the city of Nabatieh being targeted for the second time within an hour. In the Bint Jbeil district, the town of Rshaf was also struck, alongside the Al-Salasi l neighborhood in Khirbet Silm. The sequence of attacks has underscored the escalating tensions in the region, with multiple localities experiencing significant military action.
