Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern Lebanese Towns, Resulting in Multiple Casualties

AMMAN: Israeli airstrikes on several towns in southern Lebanon, including Nabatieh and Qana, have resulted in the deaths of nine individuals and injuries to nearly a hundred others, escalating tensions in the region. According to Jordan News Agency, the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that six people were killed and 43 were injured following an Israeli attack on the Nabatieh municipality building. In a separate incident, airstrikes on the town of Qana resulted in three deaths and 54 injuries. The ministry highlighted the severity of the attacks which targeted multiple towns including Toul, Zefta, Marwaniyah, and Houla. Local officials and residents have expressed growing concerns over the escalating violence, urging international intervention to prevent further casualties and stabilize the situation. The continuous airstrikes have not only resulted in loss of life but also significant infrastructural damage, impacting the daily lives of thousands of Lebanese civilians.
