Israeli Artillery Shelling Hits Outskirts of Tallouseh and Markaba; Explosions Reported Inside Markaba

Beirut: Israeli enemy artillery shelling on Monday struck the outskirts of the southern Lebanese towns of Tallouseh and Markaba, triggering fires at the targeted locations. Separately, Israeli forces carried out demolition operations in residential neighborhoods inside Markaba, with successive explosions heard across the area as plumes of smoke rose from the town.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the shelling and demolition activities have led to significant disruptions in the affected areas. Residents reported hearing loud explosions, and fires that broke out as a result of the shelling have caused damage to properties. Emergency services are currently assessing the situation and attempting to control the fires to prevent further damage. The situation remains tense, with authorities urging residents to stay indoors and avoid the affected areas.
