Israeli Forces Raid Nablus, Causing Suffocation Injuries to 15 People

Nablus: At dawn on Tuesday, approximately 15 Palestinians suffered from suffocation during the Israeli occupation forces' raid on the Old City of Nablus. The incident involved the use of tear gas, affecting residents, including children.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Amid Ahmed, the director of the Red Crescent's Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, reported that ambulance crews treated more than 15 cases of suffocation. The affected individuals experienced symptoms due to inhaling tear gas during the raid conducted by the Israeli occupation forces.

WAFA correspondent reported that the Israeli forces targeted several neighborhoods within the Old City of Nablus, including the Khan Market. The raid involved searching and ransacking various homes and shops. Additionally, snipers were deployed on the rooftops of buildings, creating a tense atmosphere.

The forces reportedly used live ammunition and tear gas canisters, which led to the detention of several young men. The situation prompted the Nablus Education Directorate to suspend school operations in the city. The unified exams in all schools under the directorate were postponed until the following Monday to ensure the safety of students and staff.
