JOUNIEH: A strike by the Israeli occupation resulted in the death of two individuals in Jounieh, a city situated north of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The Lebanese Health Ministry's emergency operation center announced the fatalities on Saturday, following an attack that targeted a vehicle on a major highway connecting Beirut to northern Lebanon. According to Kuwait News Agency, Lebanese state media reported additional attacks by Israeli forces in other regions. In Chtaura city, located in the eastern Bekaa region, an Israeli drone launched a missile at a residential apartment building, resulting in one fatality and injuring two others. The Israeli Air Force also conducted a raid on a three-story building in the Al-Deir neighborhood in the town of Al-Kharayeb, causing multiple injuries. The report further detailed that Israeli airstrikes demolished a building on the Zefta highway and destroyed a house in Shama'a city. Additionally, an airstrike in Khodor city in the Balbak region demolished a house, though it resulted in no casualties. Another attack was reported in Al-Mashrafeh city near the northeastern border of Lebanon. The ongoing violence is part of a series of airstrikes by the Israeli occupation on various regions across Lebanon, which have been occurring since September 23.
