Issa El Khoury Inaugurates 27th Project Lebanon Exhibition Highlighting Reconstruction Opportunities

Beirut:Industry Minister Joe Issa El Khoury, representing Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, inaugurated the 27th edition of Project Lebanon. The event, organized by International Fairs and Promotions (IFP), saw the attendance of officials, economic and industrial figures, and more than 200 exhibitors.

According to National news agency - Lebanon, Issa El Khoury emphasized that the exhibition occurs at a crucial time for Lebanon, as reconstruction has become a national priority. The rebuilding efforts aim to restore infrastructure, including electricity, water, telecommunications networks, solar energy, and other vital sectors.

The participation of over 200 exhibitors indicates that Lebanon is poised to generate opportunities and attract investment. Issa El Khoury noted that international partners are eager to contribute to Lebanon's reconstruction and development.

The minister highlighted that reconstruction efforts should bolster Lebanese industry rather than strain the trade balance. He pointed out that every locally manufactured product sold in Lebanon contributes to job creation and supports young people in staying and working in the country.

Issa El Khoury also extended his congratulations to IFP and its Chairman and General Manager Albert Aoun for successfully organizing the exhibition's 27th edition.
