In a statement Wednesday, the move applies to all groups and individuals that failed to settle their customs obligations until December 31, 2023. According to Jordan News Agency, the department added that this step aims to benefit from the fine exemption by filling out the settlement form and submitting it online through the website of the Settlement and Reconciliation Committee before the end of this year. The Council of Ministers approved the continuation of the committee's powers to receive settlement requests until the end of this year 2024, to settle tax amounts due on companies, establishments, and individuals until December 31, according to the Cabinet-set principles. After examining the settlement requests, the department then submits the necessary recommendations for this purpose according to t he rules in place. The department indicated the taxpayers or their agents have the right to submit a settlement request to the committee by filling out the form via the department's website, noting that no fees are paid to submit a settlement or an installment request.
