Jenin: A young man from Jenin, Salah Muhammad Jabarin, has died early Tuesday morning at Ibn Sina Hospital, succumbing to injuries he sustained months earlier during a confrontation with occupation forces. Jabarin's death marks another casualty in the ongoing conflicts in the West Bank, which have seen a significant toll since last October. According to Maan News Agency, medical sources in Jenin confirmed the death of Salah Muhammad Jabarin, who had been critically injured during an incursion by occupation forces on July 5, 2024, into the city of Jenin and its camp. The same incident had previously claimed the life of his father, Muhammad Mahmoud Jabarin, who was shot while on the roof of his house. The Ministry of Health reports that since October 7, 2023, the violence in the West Bank has resulted in 755 fatalities, including 165 children. Additionally, more than 6,250 individuals have sustained injuries of various severities. The death of Salah Muhammad Jabarin adds to the increasing human cost of the on going disturbances in the region.
