Jenin…the funeral of the martyrs Khamaysa and Al-Saadi

the masses of our people in the city of Jenin and its camp mourned the bodies of the two martyrs, Raafat Omar Khamaysa (22 years old), and Mahmoud Ali Nafie Al-Saadi (23 years old), who were martyred as a result of being shot by Israeli occupation bullets, following the storming of the city yesterday.

A massive funeral procession began in front of Jenin Governmental Hospital, where mourners carried the bodies of the martyrs Khamaysa and Al-Saadi on their shoulders, and carried them through the streets of the city and its camp.

The procession of the martyr Khamaysa walked through the streets of Jenin, where mourners prayed for him in the Grand Mosque of Jenin, and his family, lovers and friends bid farewell to him, and then he was buried to his final resting place in the Eastern Neighborhood Martyrs’ Cemetery.

Mourners chanted angry slogans denouncing the execution of the martyr Khamaysa and his companions, demanding international protection for our people.

In Jenin camp, thousands of citizens mourned the body of the martyr Al-Saadi in a solemn procession that roamed the streets of the camp. The mourners performed the funeral prayer for his pure soul, and then he was buried in the martyrs’ cemetery.

The participants in the march called on our people to strengthen national unity, to confront the occupation’s aggression, especially under the current extremist Israeli government.

The storming of the city of Jenin and its camp led to the martyrdom of two other young men in addition to the martyrs Khamaysa and Al-Saadi: Mahmoud Khaled Ararawi (24 years old) from the Jenin camp, and Atta Yasser Atta Musa (29 years old) from the village of Marka, south of Jenin, whose bodies will be buried later.

In a speech, the Fatah movement in Jenin mourned the martyrs of the aggression, stressing that the will of our people will triumph over the occupation, and that we will continue our struggle, denouncing the ongoing aggression against our people
