Amman: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has issued a strong condemnation of Israel's ongoing systematic targeting of civilians and Palestinian refugee shelters in the Gaza Strip. The latest incident, involving an attack on Al-Awda School in the Abasan area of Khan Yunis, resulted in over 50 fatalities and numerous injuries. Ministry spokesperson, Ambassador Sufyan Qudah, stated the Kingdom's firm denunciation and unequivocal rejection of Israel's persistent war crimes and acts of genocide against Palestinians in Gaza. He underscored that these actions are flagrant violations of international law, international humanitarian law, and fundamental human and moral values. Ambassador Qudah renewed his call for the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to take immediate and decisive action to stop these crimes and ensure the protection of Palestinian civilians. He highlighted that the absence of accountability and the ongoing impunity embolden Israel to continue its violations, exacerbating the suffering of the Palestinian people. Ambassador Qudah stressed that this systematic policy persists amid international silence and the failure to implement decisive measures to halt the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
