Jordanian Ambassador Reaffirms Commitment to Lebanon Amid Aid Convoy Delivery


Beirut: While receiving a humanitarian aid convoy provided by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Republic of Lebanon today, in the presence of Brigadier General Bassam Al-Naboulsi, Secretary-General of the Higher Relief Committee, Jordan’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Abdul Rahman Al-Hadid, confirmed to the National News Agency that “this aid comes in implementation of the royal directives and continues the Kingdom’s steadfast approach in supporting its brothers in Lebanon and standing by them in these difficult times.”



According to National News Agency – Lebanon, Ambassador Hadid emphasized that the aid convoy consists of 25 trucks from the Jordanian Armed Forces, loaded with relief, medical, and food supplies. This initiative reflects Jordan’s ongoing support for Lebanon, especially during challenging periods.



Ambassador Hadid also expressed hopes for Lebanon’s future, stating, “We pray to the Almighty to bless Lebanon with security and peace, that the tragedy of the displacement may come to an end, and that the displaced may return to their towns and villages.” He reiterated the Kingdom’s commitment, saying, “Our duty as Jordanians is to stand by our Lebanese brothers and we are always by their side.”



Brigadier General Al-Naboulsi noted that the aid, comprising relief and medical supplies, underscores Jordan’s unwavering support for Lebanon. He stated, “This donation enhances Lebanon’s capacity to cope with the current tragedy and alleviates the burden of the crisis on the displaced.” Al-Naboulsi concluded by expressing gratitude to His Majesty King Abdullah II, the Jordanian government, and the Jordanian people.
