KUWAIT CITY: The price of Kuwaiti oil saw a modest increase, climbing by seven cents to USD 74.22 per barrel on Thursday, as reported by the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Friday. This rise follows the previous day's pricing of USD 74.15 per barrel. According to Kuwait News Agency, the increase in Kuwaiti oil prices is part of a broader trend in the global oil market. Brent crude, a major international benchmark, rose by 23 cents to USD 74.45 per barrel. Similarly, the West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude experienced a 28-cent increase, bringing its price to USD 70.67 per barrel.
