Medina: Kuwaiti students showcased their scientific prowess at the 10th Gulf Scientific Olympiad, clinching multiple medals, including two silvers in chemistry and mathematics. Ali Behbehani achieved a silver medal in chemistry, and Fajr Al-Sahli secured another in mathematics during the competition held in Medina, Saudi Arabia. According to Kuwait News Agency, the Kuwaiti delegation, consisting of 14 students, was supported by several technical advisors and performed impressively by winning a total of eight medals. In addition to the silver medals, the team also won six bronze medals across various disciplines. The bronze medalists included Najat Al-Rifai, Jassim Mohammad, and Ali Al-Basri in physics, and Hussain Al-Wazzan, Marwa Al-Azmi, and Sara Al-Humaidi in mathematics. The event, organized by the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in collaboration with Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Education, saw a strong participation from Kuwaiti students in different scientific fields. The physics team membe rs were Ahmad Bader, Jassim Mohammad, Najat Al-Rifai, and Ali Al-Basri. The chemistry contestants included Ali Behbehani, Khaled Al-Mudaires, Dana Al-Ayubi, and Jana Al-Jadi, while the mathematics team comprised Marwa Al-Azmi, Fajr Al-Sahli, Mubarak Al-Mee, Hussain Al-Wazzan, Abdulrahman Adel, and Sara Al-Humaidi.
