Beirut: Labor Minister Dr. Mohammed Haidar, on Friday received in his office at the ministry, the Chinese Ambassador to Lebanon, Chen Chuandong, at the head of a delegation from the embassy. The discussions reportedly touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and potential projects China could support within the Ministry of Labor across various sectors, in addition to the assistance it could provide for reconstruction, particularly in infrastructure, which contributes to Lebanon's recovery.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, these discussions are part of ongoing efforts to strengthen the collaboration between Lebanon and China. Potential projects that were highlighted include those that aim to enhance Lebanon's labor market and economic stability. The meeting underscored the importance of international partnerships in facilitating Lebanon's rebuilding process, with a particular focus on infrastructure development that is crucial for the country's economic revitalization.
