Lebanon Celebrates First Shipment to Saudi Arabia After Export Ban Lifted

Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam announced from Beirut Port during the launch of the first container shipment to Saudi Arabia following the lifting of the export ban that Lebanon will never again be a source of harm to its Arab brothers, but will instead be a partner in their security, stability, and prosperity.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the return to Saudi markets brings renewed hope to thousands of farmers across the Bekaa, South, and North, as well as to factories that endured difficult conditions and exporters who had long awaited this moment.

On behalf of the Lebanese state, Prime Minister Salam expressed gratitude to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for the decision to lift the ban on Lebanese exports, stressing Lebanon's pride in its deep historical relations with the Kingdom.
