Beirut: Lebanon's National Defense Minister, Major General Michel Menassa, and his delegation met with Kuwaiti First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah at the Bayan Palace during an official visit to the State of Kuwait. This meeting served as a platform to reaffirm the strong bilateral relations between Lebanon and Kuwait and the mutual interest in enhancing cooperation, particularly in security and military matters.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the discussions highlighted the importance of continued coordination between the two nations to tackle regional challenges, with a specific focus on combating drug smuggling. The talks also explored ways to support and develop the capabilities of the Lebanese military institution.
Additionally, the Kuwaiti Minister of Interior acknowledged the significant role of the Lebanese community in contributing to Kuwait's development.
