Libyan Minister Lafi from Baabda: We Seek to Revitalize Political and Judicial Cooperation with Lebanon

Baabda: Libyan Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Walid Al-Lafi, stated after a meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace that he conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Abdelhamid Dbeibah and reaffirmed Libya's commitment to reactivating political, diplomatic, and judicial relations with Lebanon.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Al-Lafi described the visit as a positive step with hopes of yielding tangible results. He highlighted that discussions centered on resolving issues that have previously hindered cooperation. Al-Lafi expressed that although they are in the early stages, they sensed a strong willingness from the Lebanese side, with President Joseph Aoun and Speaker Nabih Berri leading the efforts to advance relations.

The Minister concluded by reiterating Libya's respect for the judicial process and expressed optimism that recent positive developments will benefit both nations.
