Bkerke: Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Rahi recently hosted French Ambassador Herv© Magro at the Patriarchal Residence. The meeting underscored France's ongoing support for Lebanon, particularly as the nation prepares for an upcoming conference aimed at securing financial donations.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, discussions between Al-Rahi and Magro also touched upon the recent Iranian-Israeli conflict, highlighting the region's complex geopolitical landscape.
In a separate meeting, Al-Rahi welcomed Father Charbel Muhanna Al-Mariami, the priest of Qatar's parish, who provided an update on the construction of the Saint Charbel Church in Qatar. The project is progressing as planned, with completion anticipated in a few months. Father Charbel extended an invitation to Patriarch Al-Rahi to preside over the church's inauguration mass, on behalf of the parishioners.
