Beirut: Caretaker Minister of Information, Ziad Makary, on Thursday welcomed President of the Northern Lebanon Traders' Association, Asaad Hariri, who commended the minister's efforts in safeguarding freedom of speech during his tenure.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Hariri praised Makary's pioneering steps in modernizing T©l© Liban, particularly the launch of a French-language news bulletin. Hariri described this initiative as a significant leap forward, promoting cultural diversity and fostering media openness.
