Yarzeh:National Defense Minister, Major General Michel Menassa, met with Syrian Chargé d'Affaires in Lebanon, Iyad Al-Hazzah, at his office. Discussions focused on enhancing bilateral relations and joint coordination, with particular attention to border control and security cooperation aimed at strengthening security and stability along the border.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the talks also covered regional developments, including the ongoing Israeli attacks on Lebanon and Syria, and their impact on the stability of both nations.
Minister Menassa further engaged in discussions with the Director General of General Security, Major General Hassan Choucair. These discussions centered on the overall security situation and explored various dossiers related to the operations of the security agencies. Emphasis was placed on improving coordination and cooperation to bolster the country's security and stability.
