Menassah Distribution Company Expands Emirati Literary Presence at International Book Fairs in Amman and Fujairah

Fujairah: Menassah Distribution Company (Menassah), a prominent electronic book distribution firm in the UAE, is showcasing Emirati publishing creativity at two significant book fairs this October-the Amman International Book Fair and the inaugural Fujairah Children's Book Fair. The participation is set to enhance the visibility of Emirati publishers and authors on global cultural platforms, promoting a rich exchange of ideas and literature. According to Emirates News Agency, Menassah's initiative at these events aligns with its mission to support Emirati and Arab writers and publishers. The company is presenting 4,100 books at the Amman International Book Fair, hosted at the Jordan International Exhibition Centre, including 654 titles from 67 local publishing houses that feature their latest releases. The fair, which runs from 10th to 19th October 2024, offers Jordanian readers access to a diverse collection of works, emphasizing the vibrancy of the Emirati cultural scene. Simultaneously, Menassah is parti cipating in the Fujairah Children's Book Fair from 13th to 19th October at the "Al Bayt Mitwahid" Hall. This event features 40 publishers from five countries and Menassah will present 385 titles from 52 local publishing houses, totaling 2,000 books aimed at fostering creativity among young readers. Menassah's involvement in these fairs not only promotes intellectual and creative dialogue across cultures but also supports the UAE's publishing industry by providing local authors and publishers with opportunities to expand their reach. The company's recent launch of a major electronic platform further empowers Emirati and Arab publishers and writers to access a global readership, thus contributing to the growth of the UAE's creative industries.
