Metropolitan Elias Audi to Preside Over New Year Religious Services in Beirut

BEIRUT: Metropolitan Elias Audi of Beirut and its Dependencies is set to lead significant religious services on January 1st, marking the Feast of the Circumcision of Jesus Christ and the commemoration of Saint Basil the Great. These events will also serve as a celebration of the New Year.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the day's events will commence with the Matins service at 9:00 a.m., presided over by Metropolitan Elias Audi. This will be followed by the Divine Liturgy at 10:00 a.m., both held at the Saint George Cathedral in Beirut. The services hold religious significance, marking key events in the Christian calendar and honoring Saint Basil the Great, a revered theologian and monastic father.
