Beirut: Lebanese national carrier, Middle East Airlines (MEA), announced changes to its flight schedule due to airspace closures in several regional countries. The airline has introduced an additional flight to Larnaca, scheduled to depart at 8:00 PM Beirut local time.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, MEA also declared the postponement of its return flight from Jeddah to Beirut, originally set for February 28, 2026. Flight number ME369 will now depart on Sunday, March 1, at 6:00 AM Saudi Arabia time.
Several flights scheduled for February 28, 2026, have been canceled. These include ME Flight 324 from Beirut to Erbil at 12:00, ME Flight 325 from Erbil to Beirut at 16:00, ME Flight 436 from Beirut to Doha at 15:15, ME Flight 437 from Doha to Beirut at 19:55, ME Flight 418 from Beirut to Abu Dhabi at 15:20, and ME Flight 419 from Abu Dhabi to Beirut at 21:30.
Additional cancellations include ME Flight 322 from Beirut to Baghdad at 15:55, ME Flight 323 from Baghdad to Beirut at 19:25, ME Flight 408 from Beirut to Kuwait at 16:05, ME Flight 428 from Beirut to Dubai at 16:15, ME Flight 429 from Dubai to Beirut at 22:25, ME Flight 402 from Beirut to Kuwait at 17:40, ME Flight 403 from Kuwait to Beirut at 21:55, ME Flight 406 from Beirut to Kuwait at 20:25, and ME Flight 434 from Beirut to Doha at 23:10.
MEA reassured passengers that the remaining flights scheduled for February 28, 2026, will proceed as planned and promised to provide updates on any further developments. The airline also announced the implementation of a "Flexible Ticketing Policy" starting Saturday, February 28, 2026, which includes one free rebooking in the same cabin and a full refund for unused tickets without penalty.
