Beirut: Representing the Lebanese Republic, Minister of Information, Attorney Dr. Paul Morcos, laid a floral wreath on the statue of late Lebanese President Bechara El-Khoury, marking the 82nd anniversary of Lebanon's independence.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, this took place in the presence of the representative of the Army Commander, Brigadier General Maroun Darwish, President of El Khoury University, Joseph El Khoury, Malek El Khoury, and the Khoury family.
A unit of the Lebanese army played the tribute music during the ceremony.
