MoPH Condemns Kidnapping of Al-Rissala Scouts Paramedics in Houla: A Flagrant Violation of International and Humanitarian Laws

Beirut: The Ministry of Public Health has issued a strong condemnation following the kidnapping of two paramedics from the Islamic Al-Rissala Scouts by Israeli occupation forces. The incident occurred while the paramedics were performing their humanitarian duty of evacuating the injured from the town of Houla. The paramedics have been taken to an unknown location, raising serious concerns about their safety and well-being.

According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Ministry described the kidnapping as "a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws," which are designed to protect medical and ambulance personnel while they are on duty. The Ministry has called for the immediate release of the kidnapped paramedics and emphasized the urgent need to provide necessary protection for medical and ambulance crews performing their duties in conflict zones.
