Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport on Wednesday announced the continuation of asphalt works on the western lane of the coastal highway between Jbeil and Nahr Ibrahim, after part of the project was completed overnight. Works fall within the ministry's ongoing plan to rehabilitate key road networks and enhance traffic safety standards across vital corridors.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the operations, carried out under the direct supervision of the ministry through a contracted company, will take place tonight between 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. to avoid congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow. During execution, traffic toward Beirut will be temporarily diverted to the seaside road.
The ministry called on citizens to cooperate and follow Internal Security Forces instructions and road signage for their safety and to facilitate movement.
