MOROCCO SENDS HUMANITARIAN AID TO PALESTINIAN PEOPLE

NNA – The Moroccan embassy in Beirut, announced in a statement, this morning, Saturday, that “Chairman of the Jerusalem Committee King Mohammed VI, issued instructions to send emergency humanitarian aid to the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.”

The aid consists of 40 tons of basic foodstuffs, emergency medicines and blankets, to be delivered on board the Royal Armed Forces.

The statement pointed out that “the aforementioned decision comes within the framework of the Kingdom’s continued support for the just Palestinian cause and its continuous solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people.”

It also condemned, in the strongest terms, “the violence committed in the occupied Palestinian territories, the continuation of which only widens the gap, strengthens hatred, and undermines the prospects for peace in the region.”
