The National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), through its Electrical Training Center (ETC), held a training program on the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems for 17 Iraqi trainees, bringing the total number of Iraqi beneficiaries since the beginning of cooperation to 1,354. According to a NEPCO statement, the training program comes, in cooperation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), within the framework of the Third Country Training Program (TCTP), while the company is planning to hold several other training activities for Iraqi trainees during the current year. The statement announced the center has received more than 20,400 trainees since its establishment, including 3,640 beneficiaries from outside Jordan. Source: Jordan News Agency
