An annual conference on enhancing the resilience of Omani economy vis-à-vis regional and international developments was organized today by United Media Services.
The opening of the conference, titled “OER Business Summit”, was held under the auspices of Eng. Badr Salim Al Ma’amari, Secretary General of the Tender Board.
The OER Summit elaborated on various themes, including the significance of business growth to human resources development, the sustainability of businesses in the backdrop of global economic changes, growth enablers, supply chains, governance, innovation, digital transition and attracting foreign investments.
The conference focused on all that relates to human resources development (HRD), designing relevant HRD organizational structures, grooming national competences, improving productivity and outputs, establishing sound business environment and ameliorating performance indicators.
As part of the OER Summit, a workshop was dedicated to understanding the concept of “high performance and enhancing team effectiveness factors” in a organization by using smart assessment measures.
