Muscat: Sultan of Oman Haitham bin Tariq and Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune held talks in the Omani capital, Muscat. According to Kuwait News Agency, eight Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) were signed between the two nations, focusing on organizing exhibitions, events, and enhancing cooperation and investment in education and research fields. The agreements further encompassed collaboration in environment, development, financial services, training, and media sectors. The discussions also touched upon current events and explored other potential areas of cooperation related to peace, security, and investment within the region. The Algerian President is currently on a three-day state visit to the Sultanate, highlighting the strengthening ties between Oman and Algeria.
