A Palestinian youth was killed Wednesday when armed settlers stormed a town north Ramallah and set fire to a number of houses and vehicles, they also injured several others.
Palestinian Health Ministry mentioned in statement that the youth was transported to Palestine medical complex in Ramallah as he was shot in the chest. Local sources added that Omar Jabbarah was 27 years old.
An eyewitness told KUNA that more than 300-armed settlers attacked the town, shot at people and set fire to their property.
Occupation forces besieged the town and banned emergency responders from reaching the wounded, forcing families to take their hurt loved ones in their own vehicles, local sources reported.
Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh said that allowing settlers to commit such atrocities and under the protection of Israeli occupation forces is a recipe for destruction and held occupation government accountable for this violence.
