Parliament media tactics connect to public opinion – Bahrain top lawmaker

Parliament's media strategies provide a platform to connect to public opinion, Bahrain's chief lawmaker Ahmad Al-Musallam said on Wednesday, citing the need to develop such plans with efficiency.

Holding talks with the chief of the Arab Administrative Development Organization Nasser Al-Hatlan on the sidelines of the inaugural Arab parliament media forum, he commended the body for its contributions towards bolstering pan-Arab cooperation across numerous fields.

On the gathering, Bahrain's Shura Council advisor Fowzia Al-Habib said the talks allow parliaments across the region to share their knowhow with one another on efforts to forge effective media strategies, given the rise of social media platforms.

These talks are also imperative in allowing parliaments in the region to share their media strategies and efforts to connect with public opinion, which she underlined as among the primary objectives for the gathering in the Bahraini capital.
