Patriarch al-Rahi Says Lebanon Will Endure Through Its Saints, Urges Emigrants to Preserve Their Heritage.

Beirut: Maronite Patriarch Mar Bechara Boutros al-Rahi affirmed that Lebanon has not and will not perish, as long as its saints, of whom there are nine, remain. "Those who emigrate should not sell their land nor delay registering their children born abroad," he stated. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the Patriarch expressed confidence in Lebanon's enduring spirit through its historical and spiritual lineage. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a connection to the homeland, particularly for those who have emigrated. The Patriarch urged Lebanese expatriates to cherish and uphold their cultural heritage by ensuring their ties to Lebanon remain strong despite physical distance.
