Beirut: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport announced that paving and maintenance works were currently underway along the road stretching from Gallery Semaan intersection to Sultan Ibrahim, passing by the Kuwaiti Embassy and Choueifat Bridge (Jisr al-Msharrafieh). The works are being carried out as part of the nationwide 'Lebanon on Track' project, which aims to rehabilitate and maintain roads and bridges across the country.
According to National news agency - Lebanon, the Ministry confirmed that the operations were advancing at an accelerated pace and in accordance with the highest standards of quality. The objective is to improve infrastructure and enhance road safety along this vital corridor, which experiences heavy daily traffic.
While expressing appreciation for the public's patience and understanding during the execution phase, the Ministry urged all citizens to adhere to safety guidelines and follow the instructions of the Internal Security Forces in the vicinity of the worksites. This is essential to ensure public and worker safety, as well as to guarantee that the project is completed within the scheduled timeframe.
The Ministry finally reaffirmed its commitment to continuing the implementation of the 'Lebanon on Track' project in all regions of the country.
