Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Thursday chaired a meeting to coordinate relief and response efforts, in the presence of Social Affairs Minister Hanin El-Sayed, South Council head Hashem Haidar, Higher Relief Commission Secretary-General Bassam Naboulsi, and Disaster Management Unit head Zahi Chahine.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting focused on streamlining the coordination between various governmental bodies to enhance the efficiency of relief efforts. Discussions included strategies for effective resource allocation and methods to improve the response time during emergencies.
The officials present at the meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration among different sectors to address the challenges posed by recent crises. The gathering at the Grand Serail aimed to ensure that relief operations are conducted smoothly and effectively across the nation.
