Beirut: Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam convened a crucial meeting with ambassadors from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries. The session was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid Bukhari, Oman's Ambassador Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Saeedi, Qatari Ambassador Sheikh Saud bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, as well as the Charg© d'Affaires of the UAE, Fahed Al Kaabi, and Kuwait's Charg© d'Affaires Yassine Mohammed Al-Majed.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the meeting also included key Lebanese officials such as the Minister of Defense Major General Michel Menassa, Minister of Tourism Laura Khazen, Minister of Interior and Municipalities Brigadier General Ahmed Hajjar, and Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny.
During a subsequent press conference, Premier Salam addressed the ambassadors' concerns, reassuring them of Lebanon's commitment to resolving issues. He also briefed them about recent security enhancements at Beirut's Rafik Hariri International Airport, emphasizing the readiness of security services to ensure the safety of visiting Arab nationals during the summer season.
