Beirut: Prime Minister, Dr. Nawaf Salam, on Tuesday hosted a significant meeting at the Grand Serail with a delegation from the National Moderation Bloc. The delegation included MPs Ahmad Al-Khair, Mohammad Sleiman, Sajih Attieh, and Abdul Aziz Al-Samad, along with the bloc's secretary, former MP Hadi Hobeich.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the National Moderation Bloc reaffirmed its support for the decisions made by the Lebanese state and emphasized the critical importance of maintaining national unity amidst the current circumstances.
In a separate engagement, Premier Salam also met with a delegation from the Order of Pharmacists of Lebanon, led by its dean, Abdel Rahman Merkbawi. Merkbawi highlighted the challenges pharmacists are facing, especially concerning the issue of smuggled medicines, and appealed for the government's assistance in resolving these pressing problems.
