Harissa: Preparations have been completed at the Basilica of Our Lady of Lebanon in Harissa, ahead of the much-anticipated meeting with His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, along with bishops, priests, nuns, consecrated persons, and laypeople active in pastoral work.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the preparations began early in the morning, with delegations arriving since 6 AM. The basilica is now filled with about 2,700 attendees from Lebanon, neighboring countries, Europe, America, and Australia.
The celebration consists of two parts: the first part, before the Pope's arrival, will be presented by colleague Nakhlah Adimi and accompanied by the choir of Saint Joseph University led by Father Khalil Rahmeh. It also includes life testimonies from Father Elie Nasr, Maria Abd El Nour, Dr. Mirna Mazouk, Sister Hiam Habib, journalist Dalia Dagher, Jack Klassy, and journalist Dalia Freifer.
The second part will follow the arrival of His Holiness, featuring life testimonies during the meeting with the Pope from Loren Kabubris from the Philippines, Father Yohana Fouad Fahd, Father Tony Fayad, and Sister Dima.
