Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, received Prime Minister Nawaf Salam this afternoon at Baabda Palace, where they reviewed military developments and ongoing contacts to find ways to halt the Israeli aggression against Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun and Premier Salam also discussed the initiative announced yesterday by President Aoun, aimed at ending the escalation against Lebanon. They evaluated the potential impact of the initiative and considered diplomatic channels to reinforce their efforts.
The discussions further extended to the measures the government has taken to support displaced persons and address the needs of the Lebanese people during this critical period. They emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts to ensure the safety and well-being of those affected by the conflict.
