Beirut: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, addressed a delegation from the Lebanese-Saudi Business Council, emphasizing the importance of restoring confidence to encourage the return of Gulf investors to Lebanon. In his discussions with leaders from Gulf states, President Aoun highlighted their admiration for the Lebanese community and their contributions to the development of these countries.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun stated that rebuilding trust is key to attracting investments, particularly from the Gulf region. He stressed that ongoing and future reforms, in collaboration with Parliament and the government, are crucial steps towards regaining this confidence.
Additionally, President Aoun met with a delegation from the Lebanese-Brazilian Union at Baabda Palace. He underscored the significant role of the Lebanese diaspora in strengthening the national economy and noted how their presence abroad has supported the resilience of the Lebanese people domestically.
