Beirut: President of the Republic, Joseph Aoun, on Friday received Minister of Labor, Dr. Mohammed Haidar, who briefed him on the outcomes of his recent visit to Iraq and his meetings with Iraqi officials, most notably with Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani. The discussion between President Aoun and Minister Haidar also touched on current issues and recent political developments.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, President Aoun received an invitation from Maroun Kairouz, Executive Director of the World Economic Forum, to participate in the Forum's annual meeting, scheduled to take place from January 19 to 23 next year. The event will gather numerous heads of state and government and will feature high-profile political meetings.
