Baabda: President of the Republic, General Joseph Aoun, continued his meetings this afternoon at Baabda Palace, where he received the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Ambassador Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert. They discussed the general situation in the country, particularly in the south, in light of the continued Israeli attacks on southern towns.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ambassador Plasschaert emphasized that the United Nations is closely monitoring the situation in the south and continuing efforts to consecrate stability and security there.
