Prime Minister Commends Intelligence Service’s Efforts in National Defense

Red Sea State: The Transitional Prime Minister has lauded the pivotal role of the General Intelligence Service in safeguarding the nation, alongside the armed forces and supporting entities, in maintaining the state's sovereignty against various security threats. According to Sudan News Agency, the Prime Minister highlighted the intelligence service's significant involvement in the War of Dignity. This acknowledgement was made during his visit to the General Intelligence Service headquarters in Red Sea State. Accompanied by the State's Wali (governor), Lt. Gen. Mustafa Mohamed Nour, the Prime Minister assessed the security conditions in the region. During his visit, the Prime Minister also extended greetings to the intelligence service on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. He urged the reinforcement of the state's collective efforts to successfully conclude the War of Dignity, secure a definitive triumph, and overcome the rebel Rapid Support Forces militia.
