Beirut: Prime Minister Nawaf Salam on Monday welcomed at the Grand Serail a delegation from the CIO Lebanon Association, headed by Pierre Eid. Eid explained that the delegation requested the Prime Minister’s patronage of the association’s upcoming conference, scheduled for November 15 at the Middle East Airlines Training and Conferences Center.
According to National News Agency – Lebanon, the meeting highlighted the significance of the conference, which aims to bring together industry leaders and professionals to discuss advancements and challenges within the field of information technology in Lebanon. The Prime Minister expressed interest in the association’s efforts to foster technological growth and innovation.
Pierre Eid emphasized the importance of the Prime Minister’s support, stating that it would enhance the conference’s visibility and underscore the government’s commitment to the IT sector. The CIO Lebanon Association is focused on promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing among IT professionals across the country.
