KUWAIT CITY: Al-Qadsia secured a 2-1 victory against Al-Nasr in the seventh round of the Kuwaiti Premier League, also known as the Zain League, at the Mohammad Al-Hamad Stadium. The home team capitalized on their advantage and the support of their fans to clinch the win. According to Kuwait News Agency, Ismail Khafi opened the scoring for Al-Qadsia with an acrobatic shot that found the back of the Al-Nasr net in the ninth minute. As the match progressed, Mohammad Soula doubled Al-Qadsia's lead with a crucial goal in the 88th minute, putting the team in a commanding position. Despite a late effort from Al-Nasr, with Rashed Al-Mutairi scoring in the 94th minute, it was not enough to alter the outcome of the match. This victory allowed Al-Qadsia to elevate their points tally to 10, securing fifth place in the league standings. Al-Nasr, meanwhile, remains in ninth place with four points.
