Beirut: Foreign Minister, Youssef Raggi, on Tuesday received a message from Belgian Foreign Minister, Maxime Pr©vot, informing him of a £5 million humanitarian aid allocation for Lebanon.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, the assistance will be channeled through United Nations funds. Pr©vot also tasked Belgium's ambassador in Beirut with coordinating with Lebanese civil and military authorities to assess needs and submit a detailed report to determine further support.
Pr©vot also reaffirmed Belgium's full support for Lebanon and its people amid the current exceptional circumstances.
