Beirut: Foreign Minister Youssef Rajji participated, via video conference, in the 165th session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, dedicated to discussing Iranian attacks on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Arab states.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, in his remarks, Rajji reiterated his strong condemnation of the Iranian violations against the security and sovereignty of brotherly Arab states, stressing that "what is happening exceeds all acceptable limits and warrants unequivocal condemnation by all international standards and norms." He reaffirmed Lebanon's firm solidarity with Arab brethrens in confronting such violations.
Rajji also expressed gratitude "for Arab positions supporting Lebanon in the face of the Israeli aggression, and for the continuous efforts exerted by Arab countries to stop the escalation and promote stability."
The Foreign Minister concluded by valuing the firm Arab support for the Lebanese government's decisions aimed at restricting weapons solely to the state, extending its full sovereignty over all its territory, and putting an end to all illegal military actions."
