Beirut: Public Works and Transport Minister, Fayez Rasamny, on Wednesday held a series of meetings with several parliamentary and political figures, as part of ongoing follow-up on development and public service files and to ensure continued coordination in support of the public interest.
According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Rasamny met with MP Simon Abi Ramia, with discussions focusing on a number of vital projects in the Jbeil district. Abi Ramia thanked the minister and the ministry for securing the materials and equipment needed to ensure the readiness of snow-removal centers.
Rasamny also met MP Nazih Matta to review issues related to the public works and transport sectors in Aley district, particularly key development projects under follow-up and ways to accelerate implementation in line with applicable legal and administrative frameworks.
In addition, Rasamny discussed general development matters with former minister Wiam Wahhab, stressing the importance of strengthening the role of the state in developing infrastructure and improving services for citizens amid the current economic conditions.
