Renewed Bombing in Gaza Kills 74, Targets UNRWA and Municipal Workers

Gaza: The Israeli occupation forces have intensified their offensive in the Gaza Strip, resulting in significant casualties and targeting critical infrastructure, including United Nations and municipal workers. Over the past 24 hours, 74 individuals have been reported killed and 130 wounded as the conflict continues to escalate. According to Maan News Agency, six municipal workers in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, were killed by Israeli bombing while attempting to operate a water well with UN coordination. In a separate incident, three individuals were killed, and several were wounded following an attack on Al-Zahraa School in the Al-Daraj neighborhood of the Old City, east of Gaza City. The situation in Jabalia remains dire as video footage shows Israeli forces arresting dozens of residents after evacuating their families. In a tragic escalation, the Darduna family home in Jabalia Al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip, was targeted, resulting in ten deaths. Further compounding the crisis, Kam al Adwan Hospital came under fire, leading to the deaths of a doctor and nurse and claiming the lives of three patients due to inadequate treatment. In another attack, Mazen Al-Kahlout, the director of municipal police in northern Gaza, was killed near Al-Yaman Al-Saeed Hospital in Jabalia camp. In Deir al-Balah, an Israeli assault on a UNRWA vehicle led to the deaths of two members of the Abu Atwi family. Meanwhile, in Rafah, two individuals, Amjad Ibrahim Fathi Qishta and Jihad Raed Qishta, were killed when citizens were targeted near al-Aqqad School in Khirbet al-Adas. The conflict, now in its 383rd day, has seen six massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, with the overall death toll from the Israeli aggression reaching 42,792 and 100,412 wounded since October 7. The humanitarian situation continues to deteriorate as the violence persists.
