Salameh Discusses Cultural Cooperation with Arcenciel to Promote Lebanese Heritage and Joint Activities

Beirut: Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh on Wednesday met in his office at the National Library in Sanayeh with Hoda Qassatly, head of the cultural program at the Arcenciel association, and Fadi Mjaess, representative of the association's Bekaa branch. The meeting focused on the functioning of the association's cultural department. According to National News Agency - Lebanon, Ms. Qassatly stated, "We expressed to the Minister our interest in the cultural sector, especially since the association's publishing house publishes several works on Lebanese heritage, cultural legacy, and traditional houses." She further elaborated on the opportunity to discuss with Minister Salameh the potential for cooperation between the ministry and the association on various activities of mutual interest. Discussions included participation with the ministry in the National Heritage Day events next April and the organization of a cultural and musical event under the ministry's auspices at the Arcenciel branch in Ta'nayel, in the Bekaa Valley. These initiatives aim to benefit all segments of Lebanese society.
